OUR COMPETITIONS
VEX CHALLENGE
The VEX Robotics Competition is the largest and fastest-growing middle school and high school robotics program that presents an exciting engineering challenge in the form of a game. Students build, program, test, and modify innovative robots to compete in a series of matches and tournaments with the goal of competing at the world competition.
SEAPERCH
Although discontinued the SeaPerch Challenge taught students about STEAM and underwater robotics. SeaPerch challenged us to construct an underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV) and follow the engineering design process. In teams of four to six, students will use PVC pipes, floats, zip-ties, and other simple materials to construct the ROV. When at competitions, a driver is appointed along with a spotter, who will guide the driver to achieve the mission.
FIRST ROBOTICS
The FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is an advanced international high school robotics competition that challenges teams of students to design, build and program industrial-size robots in under six weeks. To accomplish this, teams must raise funds, design a team "brand," hone teamwork skills, solicit expert mentorship, and much more.
